I'm trying to sync my contacts with the CyanogenMod 7 but they're not showing up. Anyone else with this issue? I installed the ROM through Rom Manager and wiped data & cache.

Android 2.3 Gingerbread supports this but more of a OS thing than a app thing.

*****PLEASE HELP DROID X
-Downloaded the gingerbread software
-renamed the file to "update.zip" and put it on SD Card
-when I go to the reset, select the update from sd card, It wont find or upload the file
-Its pissing me off, can someone help me out?

make sure you didnt NAME it update.zip
It should only be named update (it should already be a zip file.....you dont have to add the .zip)

Transferred contacts from my bberry at the store...I'm messing with my new phone, mainly looking through apps, and web browsing. Aloof a sudden my contact list is GONE! WTH happened to it?
Any help? Any way I can get em back without going back to the store?

Is this an official update you downloaded?
If so, i dont know because Motorola is different as far as how to update and root and all that i think.
if its official, check with samsung......If not, check with whoever you downloaded it from and make sure your phone is properly hacked/rooted.
Go into accounts and make sure your contacts are synced with the phone................there should be an option to sync contacts to the phone from the sim card. (if he did if after you signed into your google account, they should still be there unless you didnt sign into google until you got home...........it would sync googles contacts only and you will have to try and import them from your memory card).
It depends on how they did it at the store though.

its not on my google account...

damn, i would head back to the store and then next time back em up with google contacts on your account just incase something happens again.
