I think all these superphones are going to end up in a simple/moderate phone (by today's standards or even yesteryear) + a small entertainment device, like an ipod touch, but now it seems like a tablet with internet connection as well.
people will carry 2 and separate them.

Check the completed listings on ebay...thats usually a good indication of how much you can sell it for.

in Applications,Keyboard

We’re proud to bring to you two new themed versions of Swype from a developer over at XDA. This version of Swype should work for your HTC Evo or HTC Droid Incredible. We’ve been having some issues obtaining an unmodified Swype for HTC Evo, as noted in this article: Swype for HTC EVO but we’ve obtained these files and are excited to see these working on your phones! Take the time to check out both versions below, then follow the instructions after you download the version you want to get Swype working on your Evo or Incredible.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Press ‘Language and Keyboard’.
3. Check the box next to ‘Swype’. Accept the message that pops up.
4. Open any text input field. Quick way is to press the search button on your phone (if it’s a Google phone).
5. Long-press on the input box.
6. Select ‘Input Method’ from the popup.
7. Select ‘Swype’ from the choices given to you.
8. Swype away!

These have had like a 100% success rate of working. The ones I posted above.

Make sure you have all Swype versions uninstalled from your phone, then use Astro File Manager to install the APK from here. So all the old Swype apk's you have...delete them. The Swype Installer. And the Swype app itself.

Go to settings...Applications. Click 'Unknown sources'. That enables use of apps not found in App Market.

Then go to settings again, enable keyboard, click Swype. That enables it. When you go to type something, long press, Input method with come up. Chose Swype...that's it.

Hit me inbox if you still have problems...

In Recovery. Theres an option that says nandroid. Click on that and then inside that menu it will give you the option to backup or restore.

Is anyone else who is rooted not able to use chrome to phone anymore. My links wont go to the phone. I dont know if maybe its just a server thing on the apps part or if you cant use it rooted. I cant find anyone else complainin about it so im gonna assume for now its just a server issue. But just to check has anyone successfully used Chrome to Phone after root?
