HTC’s thinnest phone, the Ville, rumored to land at T-Mobile
Tweet

If you were feeling let down by T-Mobile’s weak showing at CES this year, it’s time to turn that frown upside down. According to Evan Blass of PocketNow, T-Mobile will begin carrying HTC’s thinnest phone ever created, the HTC Ville, this spring.

Expected to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress, rumored specs on the HTC Ville have been around since early November, 2011. Along with Android 4.0 and Sense UI 4, the Ville is expected to launch with:
 • 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4
 • Adreno 225 GPU
 • 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display
 • Beats Audio
 • Backside-illuminated 8 megapixel camera capable of rivaling point-and-shoot quality
 • 1650mAh battery
As exciting as the Snapdragon S4, Android 4.0 and Super AMOLED display are, the Ville’s crowning achievement is its sleek metal construction and staggering thinness. At just under 8mm, the Ville will be thinner than both the iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy S II.

Along with information on the Ville, Blass also detailed a new service coming to HTC known as HTC Family. HTC Family will be integrated in the latest version of Sense, and features new ways for families to communicate, along with geolocation tools for staying connected. HTC Family is also rumored to be announced at MWC. Look for the T-Mobile branded Ville to on display at CTIA.

My 3 and a half week old nexus slipped out of my jacket pocket as I was getting out of the car yesterday and now it has 4 large cracks in the screen

. Good thing i have insurance, because $100 >>>>> $700+. Definitely gonna roll with a case this time, this phone is just too fragile and slippery. I dropped my old iPhone 3GS prob 10x over the 2.5 years i had it and it still looks new.  Apart from that though, I've been loving this thing! ICS is super slick and the screen is just
pimp.gif
 (less so with the cracks
laugh.gif
) And i've been getting about 20mbps on 4g which is 4 times faster than my home DSL and 20 times faster than my 3GS. Great phone, just GET A CASE!!!

After getting an iPhone so I wouldn't have to carry around an iPod & Phone for 6 months, I can proudly say I'm switching back to the Android.

I'm sick of the iPhone and it's low quality build. I have to press the home button 7-15 times for it to work, the lock button doesn't work, and the phone just sucks!

I hate iPhone. ANDROID FOREVER <3 ha

If I'm looking at getting a new android on t-mo tomorrow...

T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S II or HTC Amaze 4G?
