What apps you guys using for the camera? I just downloaded a new rom for my S2 and it came with the free version of Fast Burst...

It shoots really fast unlike the stock camera and has better features and even more features if you buy the full version($4)

Any help?

Would this work even without having a Rom Manager¿ I'm not rooted, but there are times when the music I just put on the SD will not show up on Google Music. Or it will be there, then if I stop the player and come back a while later, the tracks will be gone. I downloaded an app called "Rescan Media" that works, but it's a temporary fix because the music will disappear again.

If you don't have Rom Manager, there's probably another app placing .nomedia files on your sd card. You might have to root to use a file explorer to see the contents of the root folders. What happened with Rom Manager was just a random bug that can happen with any app, I think.

If that's not the case, tho, check to see what kind of file format the songs are; WAV files, for example, aren't supported in Google Music. If that's not the case, check the tags of your music. I've found that if there are inconsistencies in the tags, Google Music will not play the music and/or songs will appear/disappear. Edit the tags on your pc so that all the songs are numbered correctly, in the right order, artist and album name are accurate, etc. It's time consuming but it works for me.

I apologize if this has been discussed before, but are there any cheaper alternatives for repairing the cracked glass screen of the Droid Razr MAxx than sending it in to Motorola for repairs?

Back in May the Wall St. Journal reported there would be multiple Nexus devices  this year, but the rumors have been awfully quiet since then. Today we received a tip that Japanese carrier DoCoMo’s fall lineup has leaked and it includes three possible Nexus devices.

Rumored devices on the list include the Samsung Galaxy Nexus II, Sony Xperia Nexus, and LG Optimus Nexus. We were originally expecting there could be up to five Nexus devices and we already saw the Nexus 7 and Nexus Q, so it’s possible we could still get three more smartphones.

At this point I wouldn’t put a lot of stock in this rumor, but things have been so quiet that we were starting to wonder if there would be another Nexus phone this year.

Who do you hope makes the next Nexus?

Pinterest is out for Android, not sure if anybody knew or uses it. I've used the web app for sometime now so I'm very pleased to see the mobile version.

I'll bet some Altitude 13s that Samsung comes out with the hardest phone spec wise

or they might not

Give me software optimization and battery life...the hardware specs as of now are more than capable for our portable devices. I wonder if most even know what the specs mean outside of the numbers. ^ here you come with that elitist **** bro

Whats wrong with wanting to future proof our phones a little bit? Ill be mad if I grab a Nexus, and this time next year it feels like Im trying to run Windows 7 on a 1995 Gateway.

Future Proof??? For devices with less than a year cycle before an upgrade? And as far as future proofing goes tell me one thing that these current generation phones are doing that most phones introduced a few years ago cannot do now? Front facing cams were the last major upgrade capability wise. Increases in "smoothness", screen definition make for better experiences sure...but they do not make the slightly older phones technologically obsolete. Wanting the latest and greatest =/= an older device being obsolete. Looks like these marketing departments are doing a great job...says the guy who changes phones far too often himself.

^ Yeah you're right. I'm mad my S2 runs ICS slow. |I
Its a vicious endless cycle.

Yeah, and the S2 should be able to handle ICS with ease. The S2 is no slouch hardware/spec-wise even though newer devices have been released. It almost makes me wonder if they are doing that on purpose to influence people to upgrade. Hey you never know, because I'm sure they could optimize ICS to run on the S2 smoothly. But yeah, as much as I hate to admit it...I'm a product of the hype myself, and even though I know I don't necessarily have to upgrade every time a new phone comes out, I do anyway which is kinda sad actually. I'll admit to sheep-like behavior :{

the united states is always slow when it comes to cell phone tech. the touch pro had a front facing camera but unfortunately for me everyone else was slow to catch up

^^^True my dude. Another thing they always say that the reason why we can't get the Exynos processors here in the U.S. is because LTE and Exynos don't go together...well in South Korea (Samsung's home) they have Exynos AND LTE at the same dam time. Even though benchmarks have shown that the Snapdragon processor is just as good. Oh and my bad for coming off like such a **** guys :lol

You pin stuff that interest you. You have different boards, so you can pin pictures on your custom boards. People can like your pins, or repin them on there boards. You can share your pins via Twitter or Facebook too.

Big capacity batteries(3300mah-400mah) in slim profile phones. That's where these OEM need to go. Processors and crazy amounts of ram and 4k displays needs juice to run.

Yea I just started messing with it to. I haven't been able to get into it really, but I'm trying.

I keep hearing that Fancy should be checked out too.
