how are people arguing about this? She was BANNED from Walmart so she wasn't supposed to be there in the first place. Look people normal citizens dont think like that in a situation such as this. She probably was even smart enough to think hey put it in reverse split second thought. What probably happen is the officer used that as a excuse, she probably had to backup to get out of a parking spot or to avoid hitting a car. probably why the video aint released
Either way if the was my sister i would be hunting down the security guard looking for some street revenge lol

i would kinda agree if the guy wasnt on the side of the car.... You would have to pass over someone hence the term run OVER...and you really cant do that if they are beside the car... Unless you are suggesting that the side of a car door hitting your leg...would some kinda way crush you...Unless the car is one of these new lateral moving cars...
same excuse can go for drunk drivers who injure someone. They may not have meant it but because of the moment they panicked. But it wouldn't have happened if they followed the law in the first place.

funny you say that was just thinking of a situation due to it being one of my homies... well two really. had a friend who has banned from school and went to see his g/f had some sort of disagreement etc... and to make the story short he was caught in a shooting (by another friend of mines) Dude was trying to dip off with some dope and drive off without giving all the money...he bust some shots and my other man got one in the heart..(crazy thing is he didnt die right away and tried to get help from school but they turned away on some you were banned from the school) and was killed. Would you say it is his fault he died because he was banned from the h.s. and if he wasnt breaking the law criminal tresspassing he wouldnt have died?

lol um this was early 90's..... i wouldnt even know where to look online about something that happen about 20 years ago at a local high school. But needless to say the one kid he went to prison i believe due to a think the law just got changed that despite being a minor under 18 murder considered you as a adult...Plus a new prison was just built and juvi was over populated... But this story kind of reminded me of it cause i ran into a old high school mate during the holidays, and they dated the dude.

From what i'm understanding from what you wrote, your friend was trespassing and also selling dope to some other dude and the other dude didn't want to pay in full and shot him. If that's the case then he should know that dealing can get dangerous. School has no obligation to help him even if he wasn't banned. During hurricane Sandy there was a link posted where some dude wouldn't let a mom and her kid into his house for safety and the kid died in their car outside his house or something along those lines. The dude received criticism but i don't think there was anything more than that.

no he wasnt selling dope he went to confront his g/f aabout something. had nothing to do with selling dope... another guy i was cool with was buying dope from a guy... got shorted and the other dude tried to run....my friend in the car who got shorted (i think he was skimping from it and added fluff like oregano...dont really remember it all cause so long ago), start shooting blindly while at the school (think how on boyz in the hood how ricky was running but in a school parking lot while kids were outside going or comming from lunch), and my friend who was just there (while banned from school) caught a stray bullet to the lungs i believe....and before reaching to grady he died.
His mom tried to go after the school because they didnt try to help her son...but like you said the school was like we already expelled him, and then after that banned him from the school period...(wasnt allowed to attend any schools in the district outside alternative school) I mean i get their point from a legal standpoint, however i couldnt just idle by watch someone dying and do nothing because they were tresspassing. (btw this was waaaay before ppl had cellphones well at least in common place)
Im interested in how the verdict will be... because the guy i knew was found guilty (i think the charge was involuntary manslaughter) along with some endangering lives charges or something....i know he had a laundry list of charges that got reduce and ended up with just getting 20 years...some which would be served j.y.d center and the rest in prison.

i dont know about all that...but the way he told the story...does seem kinda fishy...esp..the i was on the side of the car...and i feared she was going to run me over so i shot...That part still got me...that and the notion of he open the drivers door to talk to her. Why her, she wasnt the one who stole. And why talk to her in a attempt to get her to give up? If she didnt adhere to him in the store why would she, in a car?
