It's so great to have a coach capable of making adjustments, isn't it? The Wizards made some great tweaks to disrupt Isiah Thomas on offense (how many steals did they get by jumping the pass when IT turned to catch near the top of the key?), force other players to beat them, and then punish Thomas on the defensive end. Everyone knew IT would bounce back in this game, but you'll take 19 points if it comes with 6 turnovers and -30 +/-.
Washington decisively won the rebounding battle once again as well, but the reserves still bleed points every second they're out there. No lead ever feels truly safe.
It'll be interesting to see how the C's counter in Game 6. The Wizards have not been a great road team this year, but they'll need to take one in Boston - and you'd much rather that happen in Game 6.
