Still have the first pair pictured and suprisingly for an OG pair from 1996 the air sole unit still looks to be holding up on both kicks.

Extreme confort in this shoe, just a little blocky/clunky but nothing like the Air Pillar which came (after?) it.

Would like to see the all navy blue/black & white pair make a return but with Nike shrinking the air sole units it may not be faithfully retroed

Shoe looks like a tank. I love it.. All we get now is this cheap pleather/sythentic plastic crap that warps to our feet.. Give me an athletic BOOT style Nike shoe just this once. Give me a shoe that weighs two pounds. Let others have that minimalist crap. I want this form of substance

Excellent.. what colour do you currently have? the 1st time i ever saw them was when my cousin wore them back in 1996...

an emotional experience , and mum wasn't willing to cop me a pair.. got a pair 15 years later lol... better late than never .. and actually getting a pair was totally crazy i just stared at them for hours lol

Bro I totally Agree.. man the 80's n 90's for me had some of the most ICONIC Sneakers period!!! NIKE WERE IN FULL FORCE!!

nowadays nike seem to be releasing plain canvases boring no epic design kicks... in saying that i must rate them for bringing back some of the 90's classics of late and im sure they can do the same for these Nike Air Muscle Max Babies .... When i wear mine People always breaking there Necks lol its Crazy as there so rare

They brought back the Huarache 94 so these can't be far behind... Despite being over a decade+ old (broken strap holder notwithstanding) my white pair is still in good condition, air sole units are on the verge of possibly failing but they still give a smoove pillowy ride. Definite overkill on padding but they are tanks for sure. Not something I'd wear in the gym anymore but would rock this summer for casual w/jeans.

I look forward to this coming back in the blue cw along with hopefully an Air Max Unlimited retro in the blue/black.... Despite their possibly superfluous existence now with today's tech like Flywire & Hyperfuse, blah, blah, blah.... at the end of the day I'm still a sucker for shoes with straps....
