WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

The Inhumans are just fundamentally different from the X-men, it's painfull watching Marvel trying to make Inhumans happen.

and this is coming from someone who always like the Inhumans.

but fake X-men inhumans is just super wack.

saw Dr Strange today, really enjoyed it.

the world bending scene were :eek

excited about GOTG 2, really enjoying the vibe in that group.

Saw strange. Fell asleep after he left the hospital woke up to him fighting with a cape on......
Im getting too old. After that inwas lost.

You haven't been keeping up with the Ike and Feige stuff.

Guardians and Scott Lang Ant-Man we're just as c-list. Ya logic doesn't compute lame.

If marvel studios weren't pushing c-listers, half of phase 3 wouldn't exist.

My hate for Guardians is known though, hopefully they're pushed off to the side too especially if Marvel's first family is coming back. With Antman as a founding Avenger I never considered him C-list, Dr. Strange neither. Guardians, Inhumans, Hyperion, those are C- List Marvel characters

Marvel pushing Inhumans to the television side shows they're aware of how C-list they are and won't waste a 200 million dollar budget on them. Very good sign of some big things on the horizon as far what's filling those film slots

Exactly. Inhumans is a wash. Should've never brought them to AOS. Marvel pushing them to TV cause they waiting to get X-MEN back. Black Bolt weeping

exactly, YOU LYING if you say, Marvel having X men (hypothetically0, you would still want anything to do with Inhumans (outside of blackbolt)
give me black bolt ONLY for world war hulk and thanos.

I want thanks to wash these foos

Don't get me wrong. I want to see Avengers win, but thanks having a whole movie washing them :lol

I've seen marvel make magic with GotG.

I have complete faith they can make ppl drop they panties for Inhumans

Hence why what you're saying isn't based on any logical sense. You too emotionally biased.

Again, you're taking your feelings about these fictional characters and trying to say this is why Marvel made these business decisions.

It's lame, lame.

Scott Lang is c-list or can't you read?

Founding Avenger status barely means ****. Originally when Whedon wanted a 7th Avenger in the movie, it was Wasp not Hank Pym. I mean cmon, you really think they're saying oh these characters are c-list no need for a 200 mil budget for them when MCU been printing money since IM3?

For this Ant-Man movie they aged Pym up to put him to the side as the old genius and also father that isn't as big a factor as a prime Pym.

Imagine if they aged up Steve to usher in Sam Wilson :lol or Bruce Banner died to make Rick Jones the Hulk. Stop that you ding Avenger garbage to support your flawed logic.

I'm pretty sure nobody has ready any details. Just saw Inhumans show on ABC and assumed.

Nah I'm good. Give me all Inhumans and the new stories that come with them.

If Marvel had X-Men characters I'd just add Wolverine to Avengers and Magneto as an overall villain.

At best Marvel goes to 4 movies a year at some point, I'd rather see a Fantastic 4 movie take a spot than X movies take up space.

I have barley watched AoS, can't really stand that show.

I guess I'm talking about more in the comics...

Then I really don't know what you're talking about.

The Inhuman books (group or solos) are nothing like the X-Men. They aren't feared and hated by a world they're trying to be a part of or protect at all. They don't even face prejudice like that. Only similiarity is that there are more Inhumans now and there's the notion that anyone can be one when the cloud shows up. They've even shown ppl wanting to become inhuman and embrace the cloud.

The writing has channeled the original Stan and Jack concept of them being a step further than mutants. They're recognized as a soverign nation around the world even when their "capital city" is squatting off the coast of NYC/NJ, they've had a covert war with U.S., they've managed to still remain a monarchy for the main city. They're not fighting giant robots or preaching inclusion even with new Inhumans popping up who've lived their lives thinking they were human before that, there's no school teaching young inhumans how to control their powers, no cosmic birds possessing anyone, the metaphor for becoming inhuman is t even the same as the struggle metaphor of being a mutant, etc.

If Marvel comics has been trying to make the Inhumans replace mutants/X-Men they really haven't been trying or even bothered to copy the key things that made the X-Men a success. The whole Inhumans are replacing mutants has just been a lie a lot of X-Men fans have told themselves cuz Marvel has begun to make them less of a priority due to film rights or w/e problems happened during negotiations with FOX. They could've been pushing the Eternals wouldn't mean they're making them like mutants. Also doesn't mean if they stop suddenly mutants will be the priority. All I've noticed is efforts to push Squadron Supreme, Daredevil characters, Netflix Defenders characters, even New Universe characters.

Damn, bros were having a heart to heart talk about mothers and some dame swoops in and does them dirty. That's messed up.

Yeah duh. that's my point.

I'm saying that Marvel has tried to emphasized the x-men and tried to emphasize the inhumans, while failing to consider the fundamental aspects to the mythos that makes the X-men different than the inhumans and more broadly compelling.

How is that your point when you said this?:

but fake X-men inhumans is just super wack.

In what comics are fake X-MEN Inhumans a thing? 8o

What does trying to emphasize the Inhumans have to do with the X-Men? The Inhumans also have fundamental differences with the Avengers, F4, Guardians, etc. So what? That's the actual point of pushing them.

Where is the rule that because one ip is more broadly compelling that you can not push the concept of a different ip?

That's like saying Spider-Man is broadly more compelling than Deadpool and it's painful watching them try to emphasize Deadpool.

This is comics where all sorts of different genres get used and mixed together and pushed. The X-Men's success and appeal isnt relevant unless you're saying the only way Marvel should push an ip is to make them more broadly appealing like their other ips that are more broadly compelling.
