The best thing is that it's not outside the realm of possibility that Blade actually takes place in the MCU.

Would be awesome if Snipes is Blade again. I remember on the fox spiderman cartoon when Blade showed up to eliminate michael morbius. I was hyped.

I'm under the assumption that the majority of the "Defenders" will bite the dust if included in IW part 1 so Snipes would be good for an apperance or two before then

Highly unlikely

And on the off chance it happens they'll automatically be brought back to life by the end of IW pt 2 along with any other good guys that die. Assuming we're both thinking Thanos easily kills them.

Its the only way it can happen. The rights reverted back to Marvel. Hopefully make his appearance in Daredevil or one of the netflix shows.

I think Luke Cage is the character that will dissapoint not Jessica Jones. I have never been able to give a damn about Power Man.

I'd be fine with Snipes playing someone else like he hinted at. Him being 52 pinged in my head after I read that piece the other day too. It'd be cool and it could fit but it's really about what they want to do. I can see him just doing a bunch of cameos.

Not sure they'd do another Blade movie unless it was the last movie and then by the end Blade died in it. Then later maybe he's resurrected so some other black actor could play him.

I'd like to see Snipes play a villain but then we run in to there not being a whole lot of prominent black villains or heroes. So we're left race changing. I'm hoping they grow some balls and actually start creating new characters in the movies to get more ethnicities in it.

I'm assuming they'll be brought back too lol but someone minor like Blade could be introduced and then killed a film later without it being a big deal

“We’ve been talking a lot about archetypes and what we want this movie to be about and just how to write a strong female superhero without making it Superman with boobs… Meg and I are doing a lot of brainstorming and we’ll catch ourselves and say, ‘Wait a minute, what are we saying [here] about women in power?’ Then we have to say, ‘Why are we getting so hung up on that? We should just tell the best story and build the best character.’ And then we have this constant back-and-forth about how to tell a story that is compelling, entertaining, moving, kick-***, and fun, and also be aware of what those larger implications might be. It’s a lot more complicated than just writing Guardians.”
