It's just marketing meant to appeal to a target demographic (women).

This is the first female-led installment in a multi billion dollar franchise. It's great news! Not some sinister agenda. Marvel too smart for that.

There's not going to be glowing reviews because of the "female agenda". There's gonna be glowing reviews because Marvel has been putting out certified hits for years (save Ant-Man 2)
