I always hated the animation in the last few episodes of the OG series.

The last few episodes had a different animation studio because the primary animator wasn't available.

I hope they make it like the comics, Jean and Madelyn Pror beefing over Cyclops but he just ends up with Psylocke until the drama is over.

To be fair, this was a phatty back in 2004. Before Buffy and Angel changed the game mainstream and Cherokee/Pinky changed it for the real ones.

I enjoyed the first two episodes of X-Men '97.

Love the modernized intro (and end credits).

The animation is good.

Some of the voice actors from the original series sound older. Most notably Wolverine.

The first episode was there to reintroduce everyone.

The second episode was much better and it had some real January 6th vibes to it. And a cliffhanger!

Can't wait for more "Previously, on X-Men..."

To be fair, this was a phatty back in 2004. Before Buffy and Angel changed the game mainstream and Cherokee/Pinky changed it for the real ones.

I would call it acceptable. not necessarily phatty. mah girl was born to have phatty and doesn't have to arch her back. what I noticed is that they have certain shape on their hips that made it more buffy.
