We had a 3d printer at VT but it was not near as high tech as that

It couldn't do moving parts or color, and it was $25 per cubic inch, so printing something the size of a rubik's cube was like $225

(aka I never used it).

My high school had one, it was pretty cool.
Never got to use it because I never got into the advanced engineering classes.

There is also a machine that can print flavors of food on paper.
They are trying to create edible printable food now.
