I've been thinking about stuff that makes me happy recently. I took my nephew to a comic book store today and I found the very first comic I ever bought

Something about it made me just made me feel better. That Jim Lee artwork takes me back to being a kid.

I would think we are all aiming for some type of happiness. So the question is what are some simple things that make you happy? How do you include it in your life? If it's something specific, post a pic.

For me:

Such a simple one but good one. I always try to use others' names in conversation as much as possible. It is definitely something people appreciate, subconsciously or not.

We're the same person.

- a good genuine laugh either between me, and my wife, or me and my close friends, or just reading something on NT.
- a simple thank you.
- getting the great haircut/beard combo in under 30.
- walking into your barber w/o an appointment, but he squeezes you in.
- the look of a car when you can see the labor that it took for it to be extra clean.
- the look of the lawn after a fresh mow.
- the smell of a charcoal grill.
- perfect weather day, light breeze, just enough sun and heat, shout out to San Diego.
- a head nod from a stranger.
- random hi in passing from a pretty lady.
- when my wife calls me and it's not emergent.

So many, so many.

I'm in the Navy, I've been accustomed to being called by my last name or Chief(I'm a Chief) that when I actually hear my first name I think they're talking to someone else.
