I listen to all/most of their stuff now, but Texas Sun is what really exposed me to them. I may have heard them previously, but I guess what I heard didn’t pique my interest at the time.
Really hoping to see them once they start touring again. I’m assuming Laura hasn’t had her child yet since there’s nothing on her IG.
Anyway, Maria Tambien is one of my favorites. I played People Everywhere on repeat quite a bit, too. In general, they have a lot of great songs and they got me into instrumental music.
In fact, I ran across Hermanos Guitierrez because of the Khruangbin because of the algorithm. Funny enough and sadly, too, it’s when they when in Houston. Looked them up and they literally just started their concert and Laura was in attendance. Quite the coincidence. Had I known the day before, I would have went to see them. If you have never heard them, they’re worth a listen IMO.
