We don't have the resources that a company like Nike has, access to foreign labor being a major factor in the NikeID example. And even still you are bounded by the designs and color swatches Nike offers.
The secondary market is even higher for our custom items, some of our products go for crazy prices on eBay.
No offense taken in any of these comments by the way. Your feedback, negative or positive, helps us shape our decisions (especially pricing) in the future. Believe me, we're working on ways to get our prices down, but without having the quality of our presentation and product suffer (or offer more bang for your buck). Heck, the custom boxes alone cost a small fortune for our Cork release, of which almost 2 months was spent doing product research, market testing, protypes etc. It's not as cut and dry as other companies who do this make it seem, we're not just taking a google image of michael jordan winning a gold medal and putting it on a sock, there's more to it.
