And if the rain stops
And everything's dry
She would cry
Just so I can drink the tears from her eyes
She'll teach me how to fly
Even cushion my fall
If my engines ever stall
And I plummet from the sky
But she will keep me high
And if I ever die
She would commission monuments on her bosom
To hum
Or maybe she'd retire as well
A match made in Heaven set the fires in Hell

I'll raise you:

"I put it on my grandmama's daughter
My microphone control with the soul of a slave, humming 'wading in the water'
I author (Arthur), like DW brother, like a hustler
God place me in your armor, I prescribe no partners
I do it for the hood like a Parker
And tell my #%@#*$ not to shiver
Only time we quiver like an archer is

Cause we only fear God
Know the weapons of the weak
The weakness of the hard
And we will never sleep

Here we are now, entertain us
Change don't change us
Ever since the game trained us
We came up like worms in the rain
I dream my chain became a loose noose that was used to hang us
So now, my insane brain, my 32 teeth
And two feet creep like its Elm Street"

i just don't / can't see how The Cool is better than F&L at ALL.
and yes, i've listened to both and still do religiously.
don't get me wrong, i like The Cool, but as an overall album
listening to each track front to back...F&L is just much more better.

Arthur reference. My man must've had to watch that whilebabysitting his lil sis.

I have been bumpin both albums heavily lately so I cant really pick a better one as I really love both of them.

@ The Cool being trash. Dudes must be listening to another album. As for the OG F&L...that was an excellent album as well. The original'Pressure' is top 10 best Lupe tracks to date. Not to mention the intro to that album was fascinating. It always surprised me how he was planning onintroducing the Game and the Streets in the first album with 'Real Recognize Real'. Makes me think if his second album would've turned out anydifferent.
