So where is this example of it being done right?Ugg Classics (like those pictured above) are not a good look for a man. Sorry. There are many other shearling lined boots with leather uppers (Uggs or otherwise) that are perfectly fine for men to wear, but when you say Uggs people automatically assume you are talking about Ugg Classic, which honestly aren't all that great in winter due to the suede.
