Not even close to cracking, no chipped paint, nothing.
Just yellowing.
After that? Powder Xs. Same thing; no cracking or chipping or anything that would affect the comfort/performance of the shoe.

Surprisingly, my pair of original black/red XI's held up better than my 01 Columbia's which detached in the box lol... Yet 2 other pairs of Columbia's I have are fine, definitely an odd occurrence..
Other than that and 99 IV's, all of my other wearable pair's that are solid have always been the 12's and 13's from 96-97, VI's (Olympic and Infrared 00) early 2000 XI's and pretty much everything else is good still...

I let my bro wear my 1s because he was graduating. Foams are ogs and cracking/separating but super glue helps.

I still wear all my kicks really and most are from 2000 to 2004 and all are holding up fine. My patent leather 1's are still Icy blue and my snakeskin XI's are icy blue 2.

99 Metallic Vs (basically keep dez DS, bring em out mayb once a yr on special occasions) and 02 Raptors (ball in dez constantly and dey are still holding up like the 1st day i bought em...love dez, def tried and true, back when JB actually used decent material smh)
