I will venture to say that Allan Houston had better components to his jump shot. He goes straight up and down on most of his shots. When the ball goesthrough the rim and net on his shots, it's simply sounds nice and looks effortless.

No doubt Ray Allen has been a consistently good shooter for a long time. Houston was plagued by injury.
