But we're talking about marketing here, and Larry Legend was the best white guy to EVER play. White people need a white superstar to look up to and Birdwas the last guy to be it. Lebron wishes he was on MJ status. Nike wants him to be so bad. but there's a difference between a guy being forced/sold to you (Lebron), and a guy whojust sells himself (MJ).

As of today, I think more people would rather watch Kobe than Lebron. Lebron has all the endorsements but that's force fed, he's not pulling in theratings. Lebron's debut on the big stage last year was a big flop.

Quite frankly Dwyane Wade might be the guy, I've seen these stupid phone commercials more than any of the active players.

Agreed...Wade can be marketed a lot better than LeBron for some reason. Nike seems to force LeBron to us.
