I don't condone suicide and always thought it was a selfish act.Originally Posted by CWrite78
It's also selfish for wanting somebody to live through w/e their pain is. Depression is different for everybody, not everybody can live with popping happy pills and seeing a therapist.

If I want someone to live it's not because I want them to endure pain for the rest of their life though...it's because I believe they can get pass that and eventually live and enjoy life from a peaceful standpoint for themselves...maybe it is selfish...justifiably so imoOriginally Posted by DAYTONA 5000

What is more selfish then making someone endure the pain of living just because YOU want them alive?

but people divorce, quit jobs, transfer schools all the time. Why don't they just stick it out?
I don't understand how somebody's choice to end THEIR life is a problem. I thought we lived for ourselves not family and friends.
