Yep. The president at the time declared Argentina "neutral," while the rest of South America supported the Allies. You can go to parts of northern Argentina today and see little blonde kids running around everywhere named Rodolpho, Friedrich, etc. A lot of the german descent family properties are surrounded by walls topped with barbwire also because everyone knows who they are.Originally Posted by Savraj1

I read somewhere that many Nazis escaped after WWII to parts of South America, including Argentina. Argentina is practically Europe, just in a different hemisphere.
