Wrestling Thread June 1st-4th/Post Extreme Rules Discussion

Ellsworth ain't taking up a real spot though..He's been used as nothing more than comic relief and now he's managing Carmella (which is a nothing job)..Huge difference, and you know that Brother Julio..

He wrestled AJ twice and one of those matches was a title shot...that's not a spot someone else would have wanted?

You like seth? You like finn? Or anybody else who came back from injury? You like naka? Or anybody else who came over from japan? Ask them what they think of Ty.

What does that have to do with anything?..Nothing..I'm not saying the man isn't respected in the locker room or has no talent for that matter..I've read/heard several stories about guys who've helped Taker, Rock, Brock, and Jericho get back into ring shape/come back from inuries and they all say them guys are awesome and helped them so much..Doesn't mean they need to be, or deserve to be, on the main roster..

WWE needs to bolster their midcard badly

Just look at the US title in 2016

Agreed..But you mean to tell me the solution to that problem is to bring up guys who've been in the minors for years and haven't even held the NXT title is the way to do that?..Sorry TJP, not buying it..

Sandow done with TNA

He gonna take the Drew route and join NXT? 8o

Dillinger puts on good matches and cuts decent promos better then Mojo, Apollo, Hawkins, just to name a few.

I need Breezango to get some shine already!!!

Although a casual glance at Tye Dillinger's ring game seems to indicate a relatively unremarkable style, his connection with the fans can't be denied. Less capable competitors have had a decent level of success in The Show, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him hold the US Title one day.

He will also sell lots of t-shirts, so that's just a fact of life. I'd call him up too if I were Vince, if he gets his *** kicked I still get paid. It's all about the muh-nay.

As for the nickname, I can only assume he's a big futbol fan, 10 being the traditional number for a highly skilled playmakers like Pele, Ronaldinho and Messi. That's a soccer mark's haircut.

All that typed, omfg the 10 chant. I hope the arms on everyone who does it get a millimeter shorter every time.

Not at all, because everyone and their blind granny knew Ellsworth wasn't winning those matches..He was being used, more or less, as a prop in the Jeans/AJ feud..Y'all are reaching for the stars and falling about 10 ft short in your argument..

Y'all aint given me nothin but 2 matches to use as examples of why he deserves to be on the main roster..1 was a match where it was gloriously obvious that Rooooo was the star and the other was a 4way where ya boy wasn't even the main focus of the match..What else has he done in the ring that warrants all the praise y'all are throwing at him?

No one is throwing him ALL THIS PRAISE good lord people are just happy he got called up :lol

Cutting a better promo than Mojo, Apollo, or Hawkins isn't saying much..You guys in here can out promo them 3 on your worst day..

The lack of appreciation for the midcard is the reason why Wrestlemania was filled with Main Event level matches from top to bottom

There has to be a balance on a wrestling card. Not everyone is destined for the main event and that is fine.

He's already more over than Apollo Crews. He has a gimmick that involves the spectators and he's a good hand in the ring that can make his opponent look good, and gain sympathy for his character as a face. It also worked fine as an obnoxious heel.

Crews got called up so damn early it's not even funny. Not only did he come up without a gimmick, but he didn't stay in NXT long enough to build a real rapport with the fans that didn't just involve being good in the ring. I'm curious as to who's this years Apollo Crews that gets called up out of no where and sinks. Would have said Oney Lorcan had he not taken an L to Rich Swann on 205 Live

Yall sounded happy as hell dude got called up and was talking all this great stuff about him..And I'm asking what he's done to have earned that spot..And I'm getting no answers besides he can make the crowd chant 10..Which, like I've said, could have been given to anyone and had the same results

Enzo and Cass can't wrestle that great, but they connect with the fans as good as anyone on the main roster, but yet y'all tear them down whenever you get a chance..But now that I say the same thing about Tye y'all wanna get mad..To be fair, he is a better wrestler than both those guys..But, again, to be fair neither of those guys spent the majority of their career in developmental..

I think we're just gonna have to agree to disagree..And I honestly hope I'm wrong and dude kicks *** on the main roster..Like I said last night, the more guys on RAM/SD that can put on entertaining matches the more it benefits the viewing audience..I guess we shall see..

You won't ever get him to say anything good ab Miz either :lol

I just showed Miz some love a couple pages back for his mic skills..Even quoted MeanQueen when I did..And I've always said I respected Miz's hustle for working hard to make his dream come true and he should be extremely proud of that..Doesn't mean I have to like what he does in the ring or take him serious as a competitor..

Agreed 10x's over..Sting is clearly no competition for Ty Dilly..Goes without saying..

You kno im kidding bro. I just like the underdog. La parka Alex wright Disco inferno ect where my favorites.

Let me ask you this tho you say give anybody the 10 gimmick they will flourish. What about hulk a mania? And he was trash in the ring.

Taker with the 10 gimmick :hat

Bout give him that entrance in 2k17 for the lulz

1. You can't really compare the 2 cause Hulkamania was on a level like nothing that had ever been seen at that time..

2. HH was as trash as people say he was..That whole thing that old timers who were jealous liked to say "he doesn't know a wrist hold from wrist watch" was really true..Watch some of his matches he had in Japan where he was allowed to do more than punch, kick, boot, legdrop..Might surprise you..

3. Hulkamania was an entire gimmick as to where "10" is just a chant..Not the same thing

4. I know you're kidding brother..And you know I was kidding with my response..Nothin' but love brother Jules..

Explain to me why you like La Parka

He never held a title or main evented in WCW and he was nowhere near as good as Mysterio

Plus anyone could get over with that chairman gimmick
