He's still automatically better than taz. Wish there was a mute button for taz.
I dunno, the one aces & eights just did looked solid to me and better than the shield's.

Anderson got up, while the shield's keeps them down.

You're right though, that was a solid one, makes the shield's look weak now if someone can get up after from one after a bitt whooping.

TNA is wearing off on him maybe?

I think he is one of the best to ever do it.

Always liked him better than Jim Ross. Simply because he breaks down the science of it more than JR does

I agree with you that he breaks down the science more, but dude brings zero excitement and passion to his announcing..Hell Tony Schiavone was more animated than Tenay..

That's not a bad idea, DC.

ITO sent me some great books a while back. Maybe we can do a book exchange round these parts.

1. I have the following books on me right now if anyone is interested in trading

Ric FLair: To Be The Man
Mic Floley: Have a Nice Day
Hardy Boyz: Exist to Inspire

2. Colt Cabana's Podcast. About to dive into it. Latest episode is with Sunny. I might skip over that one but he has some great guests for those of you that like to hear people that can actually wrestle. Jerry Lynn, Pac, Dan Severn, Reckless Youth, Sabin, Regal, Amazing Kong (Kharma). So yea go on over to ITUNES and listen and support Colton. :smokin

Yea I sure did. Anyone have that Lex Lugar one? Probably will get that soon. I have some more, I'll take a look and make a list for you guys. First people who want them can have them.

Paul Heyman was seriously annoying back in his last commentary run around 2000-01 I believe. But looking back, he was great. Perfect antagonist to Jim Ross. King has been weak, prolly cuz half his material is unsuitable for children.

I don't give a damn if that dude had too much time on his hands, that list is getting saved :lol :hat good job DC

He was good in wcw because he only gave background information on wrestlers and why you should respect their style. When he tries to show emotion he sucks.

I can't really put he anywhere near jr. Jim is top 5 ever tenay isn't even top 15 imo.

in wcw he was never the play by play guy. he was the color commentator

in tna he is, well atleast when i watched, he was the play by play commentator...

in wcw he was ok because he correctly called the moves and gave background. that was his job. color commentator.

he is god AWFUL as play by play guy. might be absolute worst

and joey styles sucks just based off him saying oh my god like he was a 12 year old ejaculating for the first time...

my fav play by play guys in no order

wcw jim ross
gorilla monsoon
gordon soleie
wwe tony schivone
nwo eic bischoff
wwe jim ross

my fav color commentators
wwe & wcw jesse ventura
wwe & wcw bobby heenan
wcw dusty rhodes
wcw mike tenay
wwe macho man
wcw chris jericho
stevie ray
jbl

jesse ventura was one of the best heel color guys in wrestling when he was in wwe. when he went to wcw he became nuetral... didnt care too much for this..

Did anyone check out the latest LAW's Review a Wai episode. Pure lolz on the story behind Disco Inferno's pitch to Vince Russo on having aliens invade WCW angle! And Russo dug the idea!

:lol :lol :lol

Got this one stocked for my drive to Delaware tomorrow. Russo was an idiot.

man you wanna talk about russo but let all that supernatural **** wwe been doing for decades slide? come on now... :lol

one of the greatest wrestlers in the history ever was based off a supernatural gimmick...

dog you cant be serious...

you just cant...
I can be serious and I am serious. Mike Tenay's WCW Color work can be stacked up against anyone.

I hardly ever watch TNA. I am talking about his WCW days.

And you are right, we need to differentiate between color dudes and play by play dudes.
