Red and white are audio cables. Audio would be in stereo for that set up tho.

You could run the optical out from the cable box to the tv for surround sound tho.

Yeah I meant surround. I know red and white re for audio but I want surround. I'll just get the HDMI switch I guess

But u ignored the optical out part?

Also, if your tv doesn't process DTS then ull get stereo until Xbox releases a patch for Dolby digital.

2 questions for the more experienced ONE users in here:

Can i change the sound when using the snap feature, so that the sound is coming from one or the other instead of both TV and the game? if so, how?

Can i change the size of the snap? like so each screen is same size instead of one just being a tiny little screen in the right corner?

Just installing 2k and having the same problem but mines is stuck on 99% but letting me play the game anybody else with the same problem...

Hey there everyone!

If you're installing a game to your Xbox One console from a disc and it seems to be frozen (meaning it's sitting at a lower percentage for an extended period of time), have no fear! We're here to help!

Give the following steps a shot:
Disconnect your Xbox One console from your network.
Hold down the power button (on the console) for 5-10 seconds until the console powers off.
Power the console on again.
Retry the game install again without connecting to your network.
Once the game has completed installing, you can reconnect to your network and download any needed updates.

Yeah I know about optical. Maybe I'll do that. Really didn't wanna run all those different cables but oh well. I don't know if my TV does DTS but my receiver does.

so i still havent been able to play.  2k install is stuck at 97%.  if i try the disconnect from internet trick it just puts the install to "queued" and it wont ever start, with internet connected it says "installing" but wont move past 97%

What's the distance needed for the kinect camera? I know on the 360 a minnium of 10ft is recommended.

Man that sucks. I connected to my modem instead of Wi-Fi and that fixed the problem of not getting online. I played two games and they both stopped mid way with a connection error. Gameplay is great and it looks beautiful just hope next game I play doesn't disconnect.

well i was able to cancel the install and then do the procedure with holding the power button and turning it back on the install restarted and is up to 71% right now so its looking good.

Finally set up my XB1, taking forever for me to install BF4. Barely at 2% after 30 mins

re-installed the game, turn internet back on, launch the game, tells me 2k needs a huge update, start update, goes from 0% right to 97% and doesn't move.

now im legitimately pissed off. i have had this thing hooked up for almost 12 hours and i haven't been able to play a ******g game.

Copped that Kinect TV mount, that thing has been sold out at gamestop for weeks. I was able to do in store pick up at Best Buy gonna pick it up tomorrow. Apparently its all over best buy.
