360 d pad is 100% better than the one's. Can't do a fireball motion without using the stick which is a pain in the ***

I thought it was just me. My boy did a X1 review using his Kinect camera, and he stated how "great" the d-pad was. I thought it was terrible, especially when playing KI. I play a lot of fighters on PS and use the d-pad, I just couldn't get down with it on X1. 360 d-pad (although not better than PS d-pad IMO) was better than X1, seemed like there was more depth.

i believe the original 360 d-pad is raised a little more. then they made that newer version of the 360 controller with the modified d-pad becaues of the complaints.

Naw, but kinda. Play on pad = can't do fire balls but can dash, stick = easy to do fire ball but can't dash easy + sometimes you think you're holding back but are really doing duck back or jump back. It's a trade off

With an SN of BLASTERCOMBO and avy or Ryu, one would think you're pretty beastly and only play on sticks

Haha.... I hate them. Played pad since NES and Karate champ and continue to do so. I do take naturally to fighting games and am "pretty good" IMO. Let's play guys! Add me

So how valid is this stuff? Well, thanks to a reliable source, I've been able to confirm that ntkrnl is indeed connected to Microsoft, although I haven't been able to verify any of the poster's claims. Just because the leaker is in a position to know this information doesn't mean this information is true. (When I reached out this morning, Microsoft declined to comment.)


On top of all that, according to one person familiar with the situation who spoke to me under condition of anonymity, Microsoft is currently trying to track down and identify ntkrnl. According to that person, Microsoft executives are looking to take legal action against ntkrnl, which, again, doesn't mean that everything he says is true.
