I know for sure that anyone who cares mainly about multiplayer most likely doesn't care much about achievements.

It's rare that achievements are based on online gameplay, which is what a lot of us buy the games for.

Bottom line- if it doesn't say how good you are online, I don't really care how high your score is.

do you guys put a lot of emphasize on achievements and gamerscore?

I like that my gamer score is pretty high for my account age. But then on the other hand it shows I play too many games

But I also think completing games and enjoying them is way better.

I'm all for some achievement hunting sessions though. :pimp: hunted quite a bit last weekend

I also like the way playstation network handles their trophy system much more than the way achievements are on xbox live.

I tend to think 47k in 4 years is pretty high but then i see achievement hunters busting that number in a month

INB4 "my gamer score would be so high if i still had my OG account"

Pretty much this too. I have more time played on black ops 3 last year than basically all other games combine last year and have like 305 gamer score on it.

Stats dont matter either, try hard

Fight me bro

I usually play online but been going back and playing the actual game(story mode) and was just wondering how people feel about this "feature" of XBOX gaming. I usually just go thru the game and get to the credits too but been playing the first watchdogs and been trying to complete all the achievements.

basically exactly what i do.

If I find the game fun, i'll go through and do some achievement hunting.

If not, meh.

I was looking on reddit and people just look for the easiest games to play thru to get 1000 gamerscore on. They don't even mention if the games are fun or enjoyable, seems kind of crazy.

Yeah there is a lot of this.

This is one of the reasons why I like the PSN way a bit better.

PSN has a ranking system for their trophies (achievements) bronze, silver, gold, platinum. The developers pick the tier in which the trophy is worth and then the plat is for getting all other trophies. From there you have a level ranking based on the amount of trophies you have and & higher tier trophies are worth more experience. It can still be abused but at least there is a little bit less than a broad number.

It used to be that arcade (download only) games can only have a maximum of of 400 points. I also think indie games werent allotted any or some tiny amount. Now on xbox one, all games can have 1,000 game score. A bit abusive, imo.

I got no time for fools like you, b.

Repped for execution.

I can't even respond, I've been outclassed.

But you're still a nerd, scrub.

so a trophy is the same as a achievement?
yeah they just rate them differently. Just a different meta-game than gamer score.
I see.

Seems like it's less exploitable, though in my opinion if those guys want to go thru the grind of running thru games just for the gamerscore let em.
