XBOX GAMING THREAD | PHIL TRUE 4K

I pre-ordered through Best Buy. I need to complete the trifecta as I still have my Day One Xbox One along with the One S. I'm hype for Forza Motorsport 7, Assassin's Creed Origins, Battlefront 2, Shadow of War along with the annual sports titles; not to mention I intend on replaying The Witcher 3. Seeing the enhancements on Rise of the Tomb Raider has me excited to see what else can be done with the 1X

A lot of Xbox detractors have mentioned that they aren't confident that 3rd party developers will even support the 1X, but I don't see how or why that's even possible. Hopefully RoTR is just a taste of things to come.

I am excited for Shadow of War, I have been playing Mordor recently, once I finish that I will either jump back into Mafia 3, finish Fallout 4 or play Crash. I doubt the new Uc will take me long its only an 8 hour game, depending on the trophies ill Plat it.

Missing out big time, they add so much stuff, we have been doing gun running recently and the Heists are fire. GTA style destiny raids lol

Rockstar over Naughty? That's a tough one for me. I can acknowledge they're a top studio but GTA didn't really do it for me these days. Red Dead tho I can't wait for RDR 2. I just hope they don't go full GTA Online with it.

GTA Online is amazing bro, u r missing out. Fun factor wise the load times are crap lol

I can agree with this, especially the way MS is trying to keep Win 10 and Xbox as a family I can see periodic X type upgrades as the new trend. Just keep packing gaming PCs are much as possible for home consoles.

I've never played GTA online at all. Am I missing out? I've watched some streams and some of it looks fun. I don't care for races and all that though. That's what Forza is for

4k build is a version of the game.
4k patch is an update that microsoft signs off on.

Most game devs already have 4k verisons of their games that they have the option of porting to xb1 x through a 4k patch.
For instance, Destiny's 4k/60 on pc.

It's just like the day one edition. Same console wit a minor thing, tho I believe the console itself has an actual design on it differing from the normal one

The normal colorway of the xbox one x is grey.
The scorpio edition is black.
