Hardcore gamers don't play Nintendo switch it has the same online infrastructure as PlayStation 2.
As soon as Xbox one X drops and you no longer have to build a PC to get the PC experience switch is a wash. Do they even have a smash brothers.....

For 500 that's pretty good considering the cpu and gpu it'll have tbh. That being said, I'm waiting for tax time to get a 4k tv anyway so I'll settle for what I can get for now.

Obviously we don't know the road map for MS, but how long of a life cycle will the 1X have; 2-3 years maybe?
I'm interested in what Sony and MS both plan on doing for the "next gen." I hope MS keeps the "ecosystem" alive so we don't have to adopt an entirely new set of accessories and games and I'd like Sony to adopt that as well.

Xbox hasn't given me much to make a case for it this gen. I got my One a few years before my PS4 Pro because I loved my 360, it's given very little content to side with it over the PS. I have 10+ games that are exclusives I run consistently on the PS, granted I like JRPGS and Fighters. Xbox, I'm not playing anything right now that I can't get on the PS outside of Forza Horizon 3 and my BC games. I want Microsoft to give me something but nothing has blown me away lately. Xbox interface and online still dominates though.

I want microsoft to court more game devs to make exclusives for them. For example, they should court Quantic Dreams.
However, they already courted Insomniac. They made Sunset Overdrive, which was a good game that didn't perform well.
Now they're making spiderman.
Or they can force their 1st party studios to make different type of of games. Playground Games is rumored to be making an open world non-racing game, but they're in independent dev.
Forza, Gears, Halo teams are their bread/butter, so unlikely that'll happen soon.
Fable, Crackdown, Scalebound, and Phantom Dust could have been those games, but something didn't pan out.
Scalebound is the type or quality of exclusives I want to see. Cuphead/Dragon Ball looks cool, but I'm more of a AAA guy.

I know this is the xbox thread but unless you're dead set on the x I'd cop a ps4 or ps4 pro to be honest. I use my Xbox way more cause I go hard on over watch but as far as game selection ps4 is killing it
