yea my play and charge still going strong since day 1

my lil bro has the amazon basic and seems to never give him problems. last pretty long

Buy the play and charge kit.

Xbox controller never dies on me unlike the PS4 controller that I always have to charge. :smh:

Play and charge seems slightly more convenient but it also seems like it's pricey. I can get a 4 pack of rechargeable AAs for ~$10 and looks like the play and charge is $25 for 1.

Yeah started reading some reviews and seems like the Amazon Basics are pretty much on par with any of the other big battery brands. I think I'll buy some.

What kind of batteries do you guys use for your controllers? I'm using some Monster rechargeables that are probably close to a decade old. I've narrowed my options to Panasonic Eneloops or Amazon Basics rechargeables. Anyone have any experience with either of them?
I use the high capacity Amazon Basics rechargeable ones. Two+ years in and they're still going strong.

I bought an Xbox one last year for black Friday and I never even opened it up. Talk about an impulse buy .

I need to get a subscription to Gold .

Copped an off brand plug and play a few weeks ago 2 batteries and cables for under $20 on Amazon. My Xbox plug and play cable was looking like a OG iPhone cable lol

I had the play and charge kit for over a year and I have had the Eneloops the past month. Get the Eneloops.

The play and charge kit was fine until the micro USB port breaks off in your controller and makes it useless (you have to keep the plug in at all times after a year or so and it's super fussy).

Go with rechargeable AAs at the very least since you can use for them other stuff, if need be.

That ain't it mayne.

Realized yesterday that my XB1 is loud as hell. During a relatively quiet part of a Fortnite match I could hear it through my headset. Then I fell asleep with Prime Video on (muted) and the sound of the XB1 woke me up :lol. I'm about to open it up and see if it's covered in dust or something.

What kind of Xbox, Day One?

not good. are u on an og?

Even though my OG X1 wasn't giving me any issues as soon as I saw they were willing to give me $200 for it I jumped on that quick and put it towards the 1X.

I knew I wasn't going to ever get that much for it, and also I'm not planning to buy the next Xbox on release day unless Halo Infinite is launching with it and it's good.

So that's why I just traded my OG one in because even though I never had an issue with it I wasn't sure if it would last another 3-4 years until the next Xbox is like around the $299 range.

might just grab black ops today. or at least rent the **** from redbox. need to dip my feet in first cuz cod ALWAYS disappoints me ever since the futuristic krysis 2 era type of crap started

NBA 2K19 free to play weekend with Gold
Plus it's $30 for the next 3 days, not a bad deal.

Tempting, but I hate buying sports games...
