EA isn't fooling anybody. Especially with those game sizes.

Their next gen sports games are not very next gen. It looks like they just added a couple gigabytes worth of extra effects.

I haven't kept up with Live news, but the only thing new on Next gen FIFA 14 is 3D crowd, which should have been done 2 FIFAs ago, and more realistic rain, which is annoying as f*%*# to play in........ :x

.....oh yeah, and now 2 defenders will challenge a defensive header, instead of the usual 0 or in rare cases 1.

its only an Xbox live ban. He can still play single player stuff. If they're lenient they may lift it after release

Yes major Nelson had reached out to him to get it settled. His console isn't bricked, he's just banned form live. He's still playing single player games. The banning system is automatic. If you're not a beta user, reviewer, etc that had permission to use the system before launch it automatically band you from live. Essentially it sees you as an intruder. I'm not sure why this is a huge deal. If target sent me something ahead of time, I'm not going online with it where I can get caught.

It's hard. Because he did purchase it legally and it's his. But also it was sent by mistake and not intended to be online early. That's why we have a pr guy fixing the situation after the fact.

Nah, I def see what you mean. Just seemed stupid since Yoshida said that Sony wouldnt ban any consoles that logged on early. But they are 2 diff companies.

I see PS4 fans coming in here and turning a console war out of nothing again.

People have always gotten a temporary ban for accessing games early.

So a guy who got the system 2 weeks early, uploaded lots of videos, and even created a Twitter account named #1 SOURCE FOR XBOX ONE shouldn't get the temporary ban just until launch?

This isn't bad PR, the dweebs at Neogaf made into bad PR. They get so happy when negative xbox news surfaces and make huge threads saying the same copy/paste comments. I seriously don't understand how they don't get tired of saying the same thing over and over again

The thread they made was growing at a snail's pace, compared to their negative news megathreads, when all the great news and cool features were being leaked by this guy. But as soon as the guy announced that he was banned, the thread grew from about 20 pages to 65 overnight

They literally just made a huge thread a couple weeks ago of some rumor one of their "insiders" said about how the UI is a mess and crashes all the time, dam journalists on video games websites even made articles about it. Yet when MS released the UI demo and this guy leaked his own walkthrough of everything working perfectly fine.....very little reaction, only by those that are interested in buying it.

I'm up for going to the ps4 thread and starting a discussion every now and then, but this is serious fanboyism (if that's even a word).

But, when you say that it is stupid that the guy got banned because Yoshida said good guy Sony won't ban you (as if he would really say "yes, we will ban you just like MS).....it seems like your reaching.

I really appreciated that guy leaking everything, but i saw the ban from a mile away. Sons of MS employees have gotten their dad fired for leaking new console news on Youtube, did we really think this guy wasn't going to get a temporary ban?

I honestly ignore the news I don't want like.

But as someone who isn't familiar with Xbox's policies I didn't get it. I see y'all point now. And as much as i want the other console to succeed I do want Xbox to do just as well. Competition is good and I'm glad Xbox did great last gen cause it's gonna make sure Sony does a better job than they did this current gen.
