call me a sucker but i would pay $5 to play NHL 15 early if i can play online with it, but if by trials they mean no online and just test it vs Computer im good ill pass and wait

They want us to pay to test their games? :lol

This is nothing new in the gaming industry.

Specifically with indy titles on PC.

"Pre-order for early access"

Look at what just happened with Destiny also.. :lol
(I know they opened it up to everyone eventually)

IIs this Xbox only? I play Madden on Xbox but BF on PS and that's about it as far as EA titles go :lol
Yeah. I'm guessing ms probably paid for the deal

They want us to pay to test their games? :lol
Not really. You get access to those 4 games( peggle, battlefield, madden 25 and FIFA 14)

You then get 5 day early access to new releases with progress carrying over and 10% off the games if you buy.

Now granted a game could be completely broken but who knows.

I was ready to say this for suckers but if they add non sports games to the vault i might give it a try a year or two down the line when they have a better selection of games and the kinks ironed out

maaan I still remember buying crackdown so I could get access to the halo 3 beta :lol

I actually ended up like crackdown 1. part 2 was buns tho.

I wonder if I can use my Microsoft dollars on it. Since they are just sitting around anyway

Betas should be free and if they come with a game the. You aren't really paying for it, it's just a bonus with the game. It's like saying in paying for the halo 5 beta but get the MCC extra :lol

Either way, I'm not a big EA fan so this news does nothing for me

Man I started buying small 5 dollars games on 360 and it's been great. If you know what actual games you're going to get do the math and see how much you'll have left over. Spend from there

since EA access is still in beta, it should be a given that they will raise the monthly cost sooner or later. No way in hell they keeping $5 month long term. Too cheap considering they will not remove games from the vault.

Seems like a good way for developers to raise some extra funds if they are running out of capital near the end of the development cycle.

Titanfall is excluded from this offer. This kind of explains why the UFC demo last month was $5.00

You probably will see it in November or so. Most of the games they're offering are from last December ish

But I think it's good for me because I don't have a strong desire to play FIFA or madden at $15 or get them via a $16/month rental from gamefly. But I def would play them for $5

Agreed, Wish they can put older titles and add achievements. I want to play some Dead Space.
