XVIII With lace cover removed

I didnt like the way these looked with the lace cover... So I cut them off.  I prefer the way they look now much more.

I need some on feet pics to decide, and honestly those pics are too close to the shoe (stand back a little).

Nah.. I like the cover Air Jordan XVIII.. the cover make the shoe look slicker. .Especially the suede version of the XVIII
 
I would think they'd look better w black laces
but yeah, pics of them being worn are necessary

They're not designed to have the cover removed. Hence the fact the top of the tongue looks that way. So no, it doesn't look good.
