I'm 35 when I was coming up in ATL it wasn't really about no bloods & crips. They still represented where they were from (ex. Cleveland Ave, their zones whatever) but never that. Like my cousin was from LA grew up on 63rd street but people in ATL claiming 60s but most never been. That's just me though
 
Yeah. This crips and bloods stuff is relatively new in Atlanta. When I was growing up and in high school, people repped then zones, east Atlanta, the west side, hit squad, south side mafia, and things like that. Never knew anyone to claim blood or crip til around 2010 or so.
 
That **** spreading like the 90s again. I be hearing Lil ****** here claiming bs and cs. Like bruh, ain't no bloods and crops in Detroit stop it. Never was never will be. Dudes always Repped their neighborhoods, eastside, Westside, fenkell, pa, 7 mile, 6 mile, 8 mile etc.

That's the blueprint he trynna use. He see how gucci embraced the young up n coming dudes and they keep his name relevant. Dude got songs with dudes he never met. Tip can't buy a hit so now he riding thug coat tails.
