Yea prices are all over the place for the ones from the late 60s and early 70s depending on condition. The 80s ones are fairly cheap. I still wish I kept mine from time to time, but I did way too much to my old 82 to the point where it wasn't very practical to drive so I hardly drove it. A clean...
Yea I guess it depends where you live. If I'm getting a offroad truck, it better be able to take me up the mountain in heavy snow so I can go snowboarding.
First thought I had when I saw that was how embarrassing it would be to get stuck in the snow with it looking like it does :lol
I mean it looks cool and all, but I don't understand the pre-runner thing. It's still 2wd so there isn't much you can actually do with it, unless you have a offroad race track in your backyard.
Yep, I've seen a bunch of people shorten the long boxes. They are much cheaper to find, so as long as it's done right, I think that's a good option. I really like the original patina'd builds guys do on those trucks with a big engine and restored interior, that's how I would build one :smokin
I've owned both, and I loved both of them. But if I had to pick, it would be the Jeep SRT8 over the TBSS (which is what I have now). Like you said, the Jeep offers better performance stock. It also doesn't have the transmission issues that the TBSS is plagued with. With that being said, TBSS' do...
x2
Also. I'm in Europe right now. Seems like every 2nd BMW or Merc is debadged. None of them look like M's or AMG's, just plain base models. I dunno if that's a European thing or not, but its interesting.
Yea they are a very unique wheel, SRT did a great job designing them, they fit the Jeep perfect.
I am kinda feeling the bronze look, breaks up all the black. Bronze 5 spokes do NOT look good, seen that before, but it works on the Hellcat wheels. If my wheels were in good shape I'd just keep...
So I've been kicking the idea around of picking up some Hellcat Replica wheels for my Jeep. The 22" reps that I have aren't in the greatest shape, they were originally chrome and the previous owner painted them black. Unfortunately, as you all know, paint doesn't stick particularly well to...
