I'm making the trip out to Houston this weekend and am on the mad hunt for the Astros throwback fitteds with the star and H in a variety of colors. Ifigure Houston has those like we have Yankees caps in every color imaginable. My boy isn't into fitteds and had no clue when I asked. It could...
I'd like to say that I am reserving judgment till I see them in person, but I doubt that would make any difference. These are just ugly. At least theyshould have emulated the original color distribution and neoned the toe panel. Might make them a little better. And I like Talarias. It's as if...
I wish I knew how long the video was before I pressed play. I don't think I would have gone in had I known it was that long. Once it started I was toomesmerized to stop it. Not for the shoes, but for what slang was next. I wish he pulled some Max B and called his joints wavy.
Dude has some nice...
Agreed. The shape is similar to all the fakes out there- the opening by the ankle dips too low and the thin part of the swoosh is extra thick. I knowit's doubled up, but still looks too big. It's a 1 of 1 so what are you going to do. Not a Duke fan anyway. Also metal eye holes on forces...
In that pic the colors look a bit dull compared to other pics out there. I kind of wish they perforated the toe box- something looks wrong on forces with noholes.
Is that a patent back on the infrareds or more like that shiny plastic material. I imagine that part is to reference the mudguard.
I believe this is the inspiration for the Wildwood Air Force. This particular pair is a 1999 release- not mine. I'm not sure if these were an OG colorway. The grey has a bluish tint to it, unlike the Air Force which has more of a medium grey tone- along with a neutral grey toebox and side...
Had to cop the black/army green. They look dope in person and anything with army green is a go. The quality is top notch- oily leather with a nubuck swoosh.$125 retail isn't bad at all. Everyday type stuff. A white upper wouldn't have worked on these, the black with the muted midsoles pulls it off.
The black/army green joints from House of Hoops. Only thought they had the mustard and wine joints, but when I saw these I got open. Super simple and clean.Oily leather and nice nubuck swoosh- not bad for $125.
Got this in today. A big Mahalo to the good people at Fitted Hawaii who stay blessing me with "H" fitteds. If only more states or cities started withH. Waiting for the dark navy joint. Anybody unloading H fitteds in 7 5/8, get at me.
1st time posting fitteds here. Honestly I'm trying to cut down but after looking through the thread, I think it's impossible.
NHL joints. Think I want to unload the Predators, Blackhawks, and Grey Avalanche on top. 7 5/8- Avalanche 7 3/4. Never worn.
Also trying to move this King...
The best GRs around? Please. What about all the lows and highs from years back. Wasn't a big mid fan so I'm not sure who wins that battle. So many dope colorways were produced in the 90s that kills the jewels.
And your quality argument is relative to the state of sneakers we live in. All...
Didn't realize how many feathers would be ruffled. I apologize if anybody was offended.
Still don't get the recent interest in them. Some of the colors work well together and a solid colored sneaker is oh so fresh- but the jewel swoosh is terrible. That's why they don't make them anymore.
