They're okay, wanted to buy them but the price and the not-as-soft-inner-leather lining made me want to svae my money for the concord blitz. Overall a decent shoe for those that like all-blacks and III's or both.
I actually sold my retro '01's and kept the DMP XI's because they looked better except for the backward jumpman on the left shoe and the not as good leather around the ankle area but I agree with this assessment. My DMP XI's are still actually icy even though I wear them at least once every 3-4...

I decided to try it for myself.....and yes, my knees were more tired and sore than with my other shoes (air force max) so for me, it doesn't offer the correct support but every person is built differently and play differently.
All the reasons mentioned are valid as to why these are still available everywhere. Sneakers is a business now more than ever....Nike/JB want to make more $$$so they manufacture more pairs but also there are so many releases. Resellers are paying attention to NT and others to see which shoes...
They're OK but just another shoe that I would get only if I got 30% off or more.....just retro the original Alpha Forces.....those were my first Nike Airswhen I got a job at Footlocker.
