Lin acquired
The Rockets claimed guard Jeremy Lin on Sunday, adding the former Harvard guard by picking up the second year of his non-guaranteed contract.
Lin, 23, who had become a popular reserve with his hometown Warriors last season, was released last week.
Lin, 6-3, averaged 2.6 points...
Thornton's contract is fair and dare I say "cheap." $8 million a year for his production is adequate. The question now is if he can maintain that same production with a healthy Tyreke next to him. For reference, Kevin Martin (dude he got traded for pretty much) got a 5 year $55 million deal...

If Nene was interested in winning, he wouldn't sign with the Rockets. Just like how Bosh said no last summer, the Rockets have a tough time actually signing a big FA. Cap space isn't a problem with the Rockets, Morey needs to realize "re-loading" ain't working anymore.

In Morey we trust?
I think the Rockets have traded away all the players I liked on the team since 2004. No more making fun of Conley from me aka Lowry > Conley. Gluck bruh!
Chuck Hayes is that dude. Getting the same production of Dalembert for half the price. Closer to home for him too. Hope he doesn't turn into the next Mikki Moore tho.
Can't even offer a veteran's minimum for T-Mac? He would be starting day one.
