It's incredibly frustrating how few good colorways have been released recently. Here's to hoping the next release, whether new or retro, won't look like total ***.
Exactly. Imagine how absurd the sneaker version of this scenario would be:
1) A person new to the shoe game misses out on a release because they don't know about direct links.
2) He proceeds to complain about it on Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, etc.

Were they living in a cave the first time the Pepsi Perfect dropped? It was clear afterward that direct product links could be found prior to the announced drop date. Were they expecting something different this time? If they had a half a brain, they would have anticipated direct product links...
It's hilarious to read about all the people that missed out on Twitter, Reddit, and Facebook because they "played by the rules" and sat in front of their computer screens F5-ing Pepsi's page for an hour like good little boys and girls, instead of spending that time probing for Amazon links.
I also have to wonder how many sub-$300 pairs on eBay were snatched up by secondary resellers who saw the NDC drop vanish. In other words, how many of these pairs are actually for keeps?
Maybe there will be some renewed hype, but you have to figure that a good number of those purchases are going to be intended for resale, especially since it's no secret now that it can be a resold for a quick buck. There will be more buyers than there are now, but there are going to be tons more...
If anyone is still waiting on cashing out, this week is probably the time, even if this second batch is once again limited to 6500 as some articles indicate. True, there will be more people looking to buy afterward, but it will also be true that there will be a lot more people looking to sell.
It was a crapshoot. Some shipped without the box. Some shipped with the Pepsi box, but the Pepsi box was used as the actual shipping box. Some shipped double-boxed, as it should have been.
