Zoom Kobe VI Review Thread Vol. Better than the V?

I still love the VI and I am going to pick up another pair this weekend. With the V, the problem was the upper and midsole coming apart from each other. That was a failure of the joining method (looked like some kind of hidden stitching, plus maybe a little glue), and it happened easily and...

Zoom Kobe VI Review Thread Vol. Better than the V?

I have not ripped the upper, that part seems to be holding up fine. But I have torn the midsole. Check out the outer part of the midsole on my soon-to-be-exchanged del sols. Shoes lasted about two months of playing 2-3x per week before ripping. Still, way better than the V for both performance...

Zoom Kobe VI Review Thread Vol. Better than the V?

I would say about the same through the midfoot and forefoot. slightly narrower at the heel. overall fit is as good or better than the V...in other words, better than great.

Nike Air Zoom Kobe V Review - The Greatest Basketball Shoe of ALL TIME

OK, not so perfect. My second pair ripped after only two sessions of balling. Boo hoo. Good while they lasted, though. If you live next door to a niketown, keep going for these. if it take you more than 30 minutes to get to one, though, get something else. unless you are looking for an excuse to...

    LEBRON 8 PERFORMANCE REVIEWS ( V1, V2, PS)

One the problems I had with the VII was the lack of outrigger. When combined with the high ride of the max air, the shoe felt "tippy" to me and I never felt very confident. I noticed that the VIII has what appears to be a small outrigger...can you please comment on what effect, if any, you...

Nike Air Zoom Kobe V Review - The Greatest Basketball Shoe of ALL TIME

my del sols fell apart after about two months of play (rip on the lateral part of the midfoot, where the skinwire and the midsole come apart). took them back to niketown for a different colorway. Can't wait to beat these new ones up until they fall apart so I can get something new again. While...

    kobe V uncomfortable?

take the shoe and flex it repeatedly at the forefoot. make sure it is super flexible, there should actually be a cracking sound (not the plate, but the rubber on mine actually made a popping sound). After doing this before the first wear, the shoe was perfect with no break in. And I usually need...

just make sure to bring a backup pair in your gym bag so you don't have to go straight home on the day that they rip.

Nike Air Zoom Kobe V Review - The Greatest Basketball Shoe of ALL TIME

if the shoes rip, just take them to nike for exchange. its like getting new shoes for free, awesome. a shoe that rips immediately is terrible of course, but a shoe the performs like a monster and then rips after a few months, that is PERFECT. Pretend like you are a college or nba player and get...

Nike Air Zoom Kobe V Review - The Greatest Basketball Shoe of ALL TIME

by the way, i love it when my nikes rip or tear...not right away of course, but after a short while. Like a month or more. just take them back to niketown for credit or exchange. exchanging used shoes for new shoes is great, and you have the option to try a different shoe or colorway.

Nike Air Zoom Kobe V Review - The Greatest Basketball Shoe of ALL TIME

the IV was my all time favorite shoe, even after the lunar foam bottomed out...the shoe was just perfect in every other way that I was willing to live with the lack of forefoot cushion. Last night I tried the V for the first time, and it was awesome. Equal to or better than the IV in every way...

    i need new running/training sneakers

frees are great but not if they are going to be your only shoe. if you can only get one, get some good running shoes. GO TO A REAL RUNNING SHOE SPECIALTY STORE, this cannot be emphasized enough. Employees at FL or whatever mean well but really they don't know jack about shoes, based on the...

    Kobe IV or KD II

Agree that KDII is much better. At least as good as ZKIV in virtually all areas, and better in cushioning, courtfeel, durability, and stability. Don't get me wrong ZKIV is a great shoe and I loved my two pairs until the cushioning gave out. But the KDII is really phenomenal. Only area where ZKIV...
