If Kershaw is still available, you probably grab him instead. Price is only in Class A right now and has only pitched in 2 pro games. He's coming offshoulder surgery as well, so it's almost a guarantee that the Rays are going to bring him along slowly. I would be very surprised to see him in the...

I agree with this. Ellsbury, Barmes, and Sizemore should be able to keep you competitive in steals if you drop Bourn.

When Furcal comes back, I still expect Pierre to bat 2nd...or they might even be flip-flopped. Pierre is hitting the ball too well right now to move down inthe lineup: 9 hits, 5 SB in his last 10...Andruw Jones won't continue to hit second, so I would imagine a Pierre-Furcal leadoff would be...

As far as the Gagne situation goes... Since he's been demoted, I thought the likely candidates would be Salomon Torres (12 saves last year with PIT), Guillermo Mota, or David Riske. However, with Ned Yost putting Brian Shouse in with 2 outs in the 9th, it seems he won't be hesistant to change...

That's tough...I think Jacobs has more upside and you could probably get more value in a trade for Helton just because of his name.

It's tough for Joba....I mean, he's definitely helping your Ks, and WHIP/ERA ratios....so he's valuable now as a reliever, anyways. Heshould be in the rotation by mid-season though, especially the way Hank is talking. However, the Yankees only need a 5th starter 3 times during the month ofMay...

I agree on Andruw Jones...I don't see him breaking out anytime soon, especially being moved around in the lineup the way he is. In other news, pick up SP Max Scherzer, ARI...the next superstar prospect...pitched 4 1/3 innings of relief on Tuesday with 7 K's...will get 2 starts nextweek.

NT's NFL MOCK Participation Draft - Round 2: Bills are up (ravens skipped)

With the 23rd selection, the Pittsburgh Steelers select: Jeff Otah, OT, Pittsburgh A big and powerful right tackle, Otah should man the line for our team for the next 10-15 years. He isa prototypical right tackle and although he has only played football for 5 years, he has the athleticism...

Probably Maddux or Eveland....or even J.D. Drew.

I would drop Duchscherer, he was a reliever before the season started, and it wouldn't surprise me to see him be converted back to that roleonce he gets healthy due to the success of Eveland and Greg Smith. I would keep Uggla, he's younger and likely a better candidate to play more games.

It seems like this is said every year, but I think this year it may actually be true: 7 closers have already been put on the 15-Day DL 15 SPs that were likely drafted have been put on the 15-Day DL at some point this season And it's only been 2 weeks...not to mention the slew of injuries to...

    - Mark Lowe is closing for Seattle, but J.J. Putz is expected to be back by next week...so Lowe would only be an option for a couple of days. - Rafael Betancourt is now closing for the Indians, and you should definitely pick him up if he's available. - Another guy you might want to pick up is...

I would think seriously about doing this trade. It wouldn't surprise me to see Cabrera put up near A-Rod numbers in that new offense. I think Oswalt is on the decline, personally, but he should receive plenty of run support from that stacked Houston line-up. If you make this trade, Oswalt...
