He's part of it.
When you start a season off like this...blame falls on the staff and the players.

Once a team loses respect for the coach it's time to make a move.
Coach can't do much when management is telling him who to play so it's really a no win situation

paul westphal prob aint mad, still getting paid right? lol
john cal to the kings? hmm...if any coach can put up with DMC it would be him and having reke too! but then again, its sacramento and not vegas

That's not the situation here in DC so I'm not even sure what you mean in this case.
Flip's just not the right guy for a young group like this. Even in Minnesota...they didn't see success until it became a veteran team. Seemed like he didn't command respect in Detroit from day one...and he never really had a chance here. Should have canned him after last year IMO.

The Kings have sent out a new release that they have fired coach Paul Westphal.
Cousins won.

Not to say I thought they'd stick with the coach but I'm a lil shocked since I figured Cousins would be gone eventually. Still might be but it does look like they sided with him and not the coach.

This won't make Cousins happy as far as how his teammates play though.

Sac should hire Larry Brown since they don't got no vets grooming all those young guys.

I have no faith in DeMarcus Cousins as an individual.

He has a lot of talent and I hop he fulfills it, but as far as a person?

Douche.

saw demarcus chasing down rebounds for thornton and jimmer last night before he got frustrated a committed a foul

where's larry brown?

A college coach will never come here. Mainly cuz the Maloofs aren't looking to break the bank for an unproven coach, way high risk, not that high reward since most don't really pan out

Outside of immaturity. DMC issues lies in the fact he feels the team is basically trying to make him out to be a tyson chandler'es type player. A get it how you live type scorer, and a clean up man second line on offense and defense. DMC thinks he is on some old tim duncan, karl malone steez where he should be a key coponent on offense and the ball should frequently go thru him. Then when it doesnt and hes on defense and players play lacksidaisy he feels like he is treated like the clean up man, or the he burnt me but you was suppose to have my back ala joakim noah.

i mean i havent seen all the kings games, but i can kinda see where he is comming from, but in the same breath I havent seen enough of his game to say he has established himself offensively enough to warrant the offense to go thru him and plays be designed for him to score.

Like a defensive shot blocker that only scores on put backs and allyoops with 0 plays ran thru him???
Expound on this more please. DMC is/was (last season anyways) a main cog of the offense, getting his main share of the offense. He's low key been the teams best defender, leading the team in defensive rating this season, HUGE turnaround from last year... Outside of missing a bunch of turn around Js (the Duncan/Malone steeze you alluded to) he has been real nice. Most of his misses are coming off those dumb jumpers but a good share of them are just from missing layups and what not too.

Flip is not the problem for the wizards so i dont see what letting him go helps.. that team is just a miss fit of players that dont go togther.

Once JET, VC, and Odom get it together, they're going to be a very dangerous
second-unit. All three are very able facilitators, all three can be very good on
offense. Hope to see that soon, but I know it'll be later in the season, if at
all.

and i know you dont have faith in odom and VC doing it

Doesn't matter at this point. The team has progressively gotten worse in his 3 years. Laws of employment state that right or wrong...heads roll when these things happen.
Grunfeld should be right behind him.

But seriously it's pretty bizarre dude doesn't have at least one. His arms aren't that T-Rex though

Edit: looks like he got one last night though
wall has 8, wade already has 12 blocks...

The team looked terrible in the preseason when Marc was out and Rudy/Zbo were playing lol. I'm excited to see what Speights will bring though.

Does anybody else feel trading Henry will make room for OJ long term? The only SGs on the team is TA and OJ. I was expecting either Henry or OJ to be the SG of the future for the team.

Also, for Love to be the "best PF", he didn't look unstoppable on the court. He's not a force inside and Memphis found a way to box him out. He's not as strong as Zbo which is why I think players praise Zbo for being so hard to stop in the post. Love is a great player, but he's not capable of putting a team on his back to win big games.
With the way Juice has been playing for the last year he might not even be in a position to command "a lot" of money.

His last couple of games have been solid though. I'm thinking management will re-sign Sam and then sign/draft a three point specialist to sure up the SG spot.

If Larry Brown got hired by the Kings, I'm pretty sure he would trade all the youngsters for middle of the road and over the hill veterans.

i think he is given the team he plays for.. but I think he feels he is more then what he is. Like just watchng them play and his mannerism such as him shooting to the goal on a play and reke stops and pops a jumper... The looks dmc gives are like hey stupid that was dumb you shouldve hit me with the pass. Or i saw a game where it was a close game and they kept running plays for reke and jimmer. He had this look as if hey im clutch i can make jumpshots why not pass me the ball. Or like when he gets caught on a fast break and he is the only player hustling back on defense. You can see his mannerism and frustration. You can tell he just wants to bust out and say hey such and such you should hustle as hard on defense as you do at trying to get the ball to shoot.

That and its apparently obvious he hates to lose. That and it seems like he doesnt like being slighted. Like iuno it seems like he feels like everyone is getting love but him atleast in his eyes.
