Clippers better not make that trade. Blake + Deandre & the pieces around them >>>>>> Dwight Howard and the pieces around them

I just tweeted him taunting him, hopefully he responds

Who is the best power forward in the NBA?
1. Dirk Nowitzki, Dallas -- 41.1%
2. Blake Griffin, L.A. Clippers -- 17.9%
3. Kevin Love, Minnesota -- 14.3%
4. LaMarcus Aldridge, Portland -- 10.7%
5. Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City -- 7.1%
Which player would you want taking a shot with the game on the line?
1. Kobe Bryant, L.A. Lakers -- 48.1%
2. Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City -- 30.8%
The problem isn't "Is Russ worth that much", it's "how much will they have to pay Harden and Ibaka?". It would be impossible for them to pay all those guys their market value, so they either let one of them go, trade one for players on rookie deals, or pull some miracle and get them to all take a paycut.Originally Posted by Seymore CAKE

As Kevin Garnett and Allen become free agents this summer, money will peel away from the salary cap. Between then and now, the bigger question promises to be: Does ownership and general manager Danny Ainge go for the complete rebuild and trade Pierce before the March 15 deadline? Several contending teams have inquired about Pierceâs availability. As one Eastern Conference official said, there are âlots of calls asking if [Boston] will blow it up.â
Portland wouldnt give Aldridge up even if they did terrible this year. Theyre gonna look for a rebounding and shot blocking center soon beings that Camby falls apart every 10 games. I just dont think that Portland would give up L.A. for anything less than what he already brings.Originally Posted by itsaboutthattime

and only way i see that happening is if portland don't do well this year.. since they have some older big men (camby, kurt thomas and oden) and/or guys on the last years of their deals (felton)
aldridge's contract would be considered cheap.. but not sure what package would work

Just checked, they're 6-6. Of course they're under the radar.
Kobe's ultimate competition is MJ. That's why MJ watches him. MJ made people think what he was doing wasn't human. Ditto the Kobester.
I never said Kobe was better than MJ. MJ just told me Kobe's the only one to have done the work, to deserve comparison.
Congratulations, Kobe: your life's work has meant something. All that time spent aping Jordan's movements and skills has paid off. He acknowledged you. You made it.
Of course, if the notoriously petty Jordan was going to mention anyone, it makes that he'd single out Kobe, and not just because he'd consider the mimicry flattering. Bryant really does work harder than everyone else, and he's been good for long enough (with no signs of slowing down) that he may eventually top Jordan's longevity. They're similarly insane competitors.
The "Next Jordan" idea was always a silly one, but Bryant is certainly the player most like Jordan in all aspects of his game â even if he eventually becomes something less than the greatest player of the post-MJ era, which I'm sure many of you will argue in the comments. That's an accomplishment in itself. Even coming close to the top means something.
