MUCH weaker though? They're both bad defenders. If you want to say Amare is a little bit better, fine, but neither of them are much better than the other on D.
all he does is rebound more simply because he's on a Horrible team in which alot of bricks are being thrown up, and he's not expected to score 25-30 everynight just to keep his team in the game (as was the case with Amare b4 melo)

Yes i really mean Much worse... Amare averages about 2 blocks a game and when put in a close game can and will play good defense against any big man in the league. Kevin love is a non factor to anybody driving the lane, and if its a critical point in the game im willing to bet that he CAN'T make the stop even if he's willing

I don't see why you think Bynum for Howard will happen. IF your Orlando why do you take a guy who has essentially never played a full-season in his career really and has already had multiple knee surgeries at the age of 24.
Great trade for the Lake Show though, but if Bynum goes down this year they are going to have nothing on that front line at all.

Agree. Why have the Lakers been so scary in the past? Because they could march out 3 seven footers at once and have the biggest lineup out there at all times. They lose their most skilled big man and their strongest player off the bench, I don't see how this improves the Lakers SO much. Just a thought.
