One of the worst problems with the baggy era, jackets just got wider, not longer as you went up on sizes

I def started sizing down in 2005-2006. Was rocking a lot of Abercrombie and Hollister then. And lil Hot Topic type graphic tees. Was DEF in the minority then tho.
Since you "get what he's doing" ,and he is such a good "friend" care to explain what it is his vision is with the brand??

this is what you would see in da hood around mid 2000's..that "transitional phase" where da baggy era was still around but started to give way to
cats that were slimming down around them as shown by freekey zeke and capo
in washinigton heights dominicans been dressing tight and slim since at least late 90's...same thing with those west indians in brooklyn
and Jamaicans..they were always dressing slimmer then da average cats.
Exactly. The Dip Set cats may have been on the bandwagon early, but none of those dudes, other than Killa, are even mainstream artists with real spheres of influence.
I don't care to explain.

^Not all Dominicans. Lol. We did things a bit different out in Corona. My neighbors when I was stationed in VA Beach were from the Heights, and we rarely saw eye to eye on fashion. I drew a lot of inspiration from JuJu of the Beatnuts and them cats from the 'Bridge. But for the most part yeah, its like that. I didn't think I dressed hood at the time, it just what was goin on at the time. Only thing I knew then, was I dressed like a New Yorker. But I'm also from an era where you could tell where cats where from, by the way they dressed or talked. Don't know what time period all that began to go away, but it has. All love though. But I know one thing, being in my mid 30's, I'll be damned if I let some kid run up on me in a pair of aqua skinny jeans.

Man in 06 i was that dude wit his left hand on his belt when i ran.
But baggy pants are very much still around in the south. Dudes erywhere dressed like lil boosie and dmx. But i mean ,thats there thing. I aint hatin.
Thats bc you cant explain. there is no "vision" behind that trash. If you cared about your city and about the youth you would'nt support this trash, but Im just a hater bc I cant understand the vision or the art of the brand. some of you ride so hard

wished people still dress like that nowadays.Fair point. Most Queens Dominican heads were not on that - as Ninja said, that was more of an Uptown thing. And, you could definitely guess what borough a dude was from just by looking at him back in those days.
Good to see Corona on the check in though.
...Oh, and for those who really know
I was all amped about how they were shouting out 37th Ave at the beginning of this record.
gargle w/ salt next timeYouth? City? It's just clothes bro.Thats bc you cant explain. there is no "vision" behind that trash. You're caring way TOO much about something neither of us has control of. Just get over it.
If you don't like it then don't buy it. Simple as that.
