I’m diggin the Miami logo and colors, hopefully they build the stadium on the bay like AAA, it’d be beautiful.....

The name Inter Miami doesn’t bother me either, being that it’s such an international city. Fits well. It’s a better name than the LOs Angeles Galaxy or Houston Dynamo, those terrible *** names :lol

There are a lot of players that say things like this then are gone in a year. But imo Marcelo’s situation is different. He came here after just one pro season in Brazil as an 18 year old and is now 30. He wears the captain’s armband enough times in the season, and you could see how he’s grown as not just a footballer but a man in here. I believe in the same vain as other Brazilian legends before him, like Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos, he sees life after football with Real. His son is also in La Fabrica, and Real has shown that there is a path for its youth players to make the first team.

After his success in MU and RM, and being another level of marketable, CR7 could go anywhere and his brand would be fine. On the other hand, it’s in Marcelo’s best interest to embrace being a Real Madrid legend for the twilight of his top level career.

Flyeed pretty much said it all, even if Marcelo left he's cemented himself as a RM legend, might be goofy defender but he makes up for it as the best attacking FB I ever seen.

Don't want Sandro in return either

earns a spot in my book of forever forward being able to buy a jersey and slapping his # and nameset with no quarrels

I still don't understand how Red Bull gets away with owning so many squads, especially two squads that can potentially intersect in competition.

I'm gonna be honest none of it bothers me

Hate how everybody in Germany hates on RB
In terms of using the money to build a team, that's absolutely fine. Use what you have, not every club can be fortunate enough to be started during the middle ages. It just seems like a conflict of interest overall but who I am to talk, my team is probably used to wash dirty money :lol

They own 2 competitive F1 teams that race each other as well

I member I was shocked when I found out Red Bull had bread like that. They really got people hooked on those drinks. On campus it be girls driving around in those little Red Bull cars handing out free Red Bull’s to people trying to get *****s addicted

I hate Marcelo cause of how good he is. If he played for any other team I would appreciate him more.

So did asensio take isco’s starting spot?

No BS I'm positive they do that at every school in the nation. I go to school in Manhattan and every time around Midterms and Finals week they got these two white girls with a giant Red Bull can backpack handing out free drinks :lol

that's a good question, Modric put him on the bench recently, good thing for Isco he's scheme/formation diverse and he can rotate almost anywhere in the front 7

I can never recall isco just being in a three with Modric & Casemiro, I would like to see that.

Lopetegui said he wants to keep that front 3. Don’t see any reason not to since they’ve been scoring.

Could be interesting and I expect to see it when Kroos is rotated, but I prefer Kroos quarterbacking with his passing range alongside Isco more.

It is crazy for Asensio to oust Isco since Isco was the star man for Lopetegui in Spain. To the point it caused a media circus for a bit that even this thread was trying to bash Zizou/RM for whenever Isco would be dropped. The reality is that in picking Asensio v Isco with the others, if you go with Isco you have to play the diamond midfield that became easy for teams to gameplan against. Counter on the flanks, and stifle the narrow passing lanes. 4-3-3 lets the team cover more of the pitch on both ends. FWIW Isco right now is probably better than Asensio, but it’s about how the group performs. I still expect Isco to start a bunch of matches, which will also benefit Modric for the business end of the season.
