Pogba :smh:. Those comments and his recent performances aren't helping anyone. Window is closed, move on

He was asked about the speculation over his future though

In the same cherry picked quote/sentence posted about his relationship with Mou he also said he'd give his all to United, 'no matter who the coach is' which is the most interesting part of that interview...

Damn wanted to see him on this Les Bleus squad but I guess he was always facing an uphill battle over some of the MF's they already have

well let him start by stringing together multiple quality performances..

I’m starting to believe LaGazzetta and the Italian papers when they say Pogba wants to return to Juventus...

Especially when Pogba is saying things like “my future, we’ll see what happens in the next couple months”

Let’s be honest, Mou fired or not (United are still in shambles) - Pogba can win a lot more trophies with Juventus and has a way better chance to win the CL. Juve winning the CL would be a huge moment, I think he wants to be there for it..... he’d be a legend

Going back would just make Pogba the most indecisive player in history.. if/when he leaves he's going to spain. No other team is paying his fee (which should have only risen)

and honestly he can go at this point. The talent is there but his inability to really be the linchpin of our midfield is very telling. Paul seems to flourish in teams where he isn't the main star and that's not why he was brought to United. Shame really.. love the dude but any player not committed to the club (could care less if he doesn't like mou) can leave

Nike issuing their Les Bleus players with special edition boots. :nthat:

Speaking of Sneijder...

Juve needed Fiat to help with the CR7 operation. And this is with RM selling CR7 for under market value. It’s hard to see them ponying up the money for Pogba after already making such a relatively massive financial commitment to Ronaldo. I think Juve (and Bayern for that matter) are content with having a model of dominating their domestic league. It’s safe and sustainable. And they hope that in the process they manage to occasionally put together a special group that can win the CL. But I can’t see them overextending themselves beyond this model with ambitious financial risks that are centered around the CL. The CR7 deal was a branding opportunity for below market value that they couldn’t pass up on.

And let’s say Pogba is at the final year of his contract and Man U don’t want to lose him on a free so they’ll sell for a bargain, at that point there’ll likely be hotter opportunities for Pogba than joining up with a 35 year old Ronaldo.

All I’m saying is the rumors of Pogba wanting to go back to Juventus seem credible and true. Whether or not it’s possible we don’t know.

Gonna need the world champs to wash the aryan boys today

It's sad how in a matter of months, the German team went from likable to being exposed as a bunch of apathetic clowns. A bunch of white dudes saying "racism doesn't exist here because I've never experienced it" is just as bad as being openly racist.

I'm not generalizing Germany, as I've seen and met many Germans who are very open minded and intelligent when it comes to race, but these dudes basically exposed the fact that Germany is not this all-accepting utopia many people think it is.

The amount of money Juve have made since buying CR7, they can compete with any club financially now. Buying Pogba back won't be an issue for them

Looks like the same lineup that started the final just minus Lloris

Really wanna see Dembouz get some starts though while he's in form...

France sticking with the 11 that won it all. Can’t blame em really

Actual quote

IMG_20180906_145559.jpg

Said absolutely nothing about something going down 'in a few months' the way it's been reported, just that after his deal runs out in 2021, anything can happen which is true but the papers need a story during the international break...

i can
giroud sucks.
deschamps sucks. they won in spite of giroud and the coach
Deschamps winning the WC was bittersweet cause you already know he's not gonna be changing much or taking risks moving forward since he's got no real pressure anymore
