150-180 area even then I think you're way over paying and I like Dybala, don't understand his benchings or his exclusions from the national team, theres gotta be some behind the scenes that puts coaches off with him

Mbappe is only player that I think could go for 300 rn

dybala can't catch a break
cats in here were quick to think that ronaldo was going to take him under his wing and he would start flourishing at juve
really he just pushed him further on the bench

Market value obviously inflates transfer values but I don't think Dybala is worth it specifically because he's been consistently ghost in big games (ie champions league games).

I'm not even sure he's capable of "leading the line" by himself. He's at his best when he has a strike partner doing all the dirty work like Mandzukic.

and Vinicius, right flyeed flyeed ?

It’s a bit funny that people here struggle with the concept of potential. And the idea that not every player grows at the same rate. CR7 for example didn’t net his first CL goal until he was 22, after 26 matches played in the competition. Yet here we are, 5 BdO’s, a million smashed scoring records, and 5 titles in the competition later.

I remember there was someone here who doubted Mbappe, and I made a post about why I think he’s a sure hit. And I see some of the same tools in Vinicius. And by the way if Mbappe’s early success in Ligue 1 counts for something, what Vinicius did at Flamengo as a teenager can serve as a hint too.

He shows the talent to become an elite dribbler, great pace, he’s shown potential to score with both feet, has bagged goals from long range with both feet, already shows an elite level of improvisation and creativity. Also seems to have a genuine hunger to be one of the best and a good head on his shoulders. And don’t underestimate RM’s ability to get the most out of players and improve them.

Anyone with sense would project right now that Mbappe will stand above all his peers as his generation’s best player. But potential, as in what a player’s absolute ceiling is, is different from how good you project they will be. And they’re the two players, even above the likes of Dembele and Asensio, that seem to have the highest ceiling imo. Who knows though maybe Vinicius winds up not even being top 10 in his generation, but once again that isn’t what potential is.

same ppl who struggle with banter I suppose

I'm not mad at the PSGxJORDAN collab, I think it's great for the culture overall. Paris is an international treasure and obviously they know their footy and hoops. There's a decent documentary too on Netflix about Paris' street soccer scene.
Concrete Football was a cool doc... I'm glad you mentioned it. I meant to recommend it in here... It kind of felt like this was happening in the ATL.

Edit - I swear, if the ussf knew what they were doing, they could tap a huge pool of talent if they created programs in various US cities... You could really sell this sport with the the AND1 type flair basketball has... The dribbling skills, the 1 on 1 take ons, the flair, the shot making, the feeling like you're playing at Rucker Park or something.

This doc really shows a cool side to footy & how the youth embrace it. It's cool seeing the kicks, the fashion, the street wear/sports wear that goes along with the footy culture.

The only thing I didn't like about the doc was they didn't incorporate enough of the music the youth are listening to. They had one segment that featured the likes of MHD but given the subject matter, they should've laced the whole doc with street sounds instead of the classical accompaniment that inhabited most of the doc's score.

Don’t think it’s just bantz, and tbh I understand why. What Mbappe has accomplished at such a young age is incredible and it’s understandable to think I’m being a homer. So just explaining my point of view.
