None of the journalists close to the club are reporting that mbappe rumor. It’s just tabloids making stuff up no fact behind it nothin to be concerned about

Nobody cares about the French league. He needs to shine in Champions League and International play.

Making a **** ton of money and living in Paris is probably pretty nice though.

I love Ligue Un. If you wants the street footy vid on Netflix, it perfectly encapsulates what’s going on in the league now. There are tons of young players getting playing time paticularly African & middle Eastern immigrants. I’m not going to name names that I haven’t already. Ya’ll need to find out if you care to. It’s pure stupidity & ignorance to dismiss French footy & it’s domestic league. Fact is I’d much rather watch Ligue Un over the Stone Age football that is the Prem.

Ligue 1 has bred some of the most skilled players I've seen. Yea the league play is unfair with psg being the powerhouse but Lyon, Lille, Rennes, and a few other teams have been constantly pushing out talented players.

Yeah I don't disagree with anything you're saying. More so talking from the viewpoint of the average fan.

I highly suggest watching that French street footy doc on Netflix. It’s only about an hour long. I’ve watched it like 4/5 times specifically bcs when I’m working from home I have it on for ambient purposes. My only gripe about this doc is I wished they used more French rap & street music throughout the soundtrack/score orherwise it’s an excellent doc. This is the youth that are feeding Ligue Un & the Les Bleus youth teams & first teams...

That Mbappe rumor could be true if you consider there might be some geo political agreements between the Saudis & the Qataris... just sayin’... kinda far fetched sure but... :emoji_thinking:

So apparently Man U tried making a lowball offer for CR7, and PSG said they’d only get him if RM sold on deadline day (can’t help but think this somehow has to do with avoiding FFP sanctions )

Love, love, love this doc.

The "one dominant team" is the exact reason I don't watch Bundesliga either. High level of talent throughout the league but completely pointless to watch when the season's winner is determined before it even starts. I'm the type of fan that just wants to be entertained; I'll let people like Kimchi Papi Kimchi Papi watch those matches and go off their word rather than watch them myself :lol

There is more youth talent in at least 5-6 countries before the EPL comes into consideration... EPL just has too much money....

But the French League just need one team to be bought by super rich oil money so they can compete with PSG year in and year out. They can start their own version of the La Liga “RM vs Barca” rivalry, then more people would watch as a whole.

I don’t find it pointless at all bcs I like watching the players Ligue Un has.

Plus it wasn’t until somewhat recently that P$G were the kings. Prior to the qataris buying the club the kings of France were Lyon & prior to that Marseille. Both clubs had dominant reigns.

 @ the prem & youth talent... I honestly can’t watch the Prem... it’s like watching nfl for me. Pool playsgreat football.

Even though I love Pep, City can be a befuddled mess to watch sometimes. They can’t get out of their own way sometimes.

Much as I love Raheem & pull for him year in & year out, it’s terrible watching him eff up in the final third the way he does with awful feet or awful passes. You can see he’s overthinking it when he effs up like that.

The rest of the Prem is just god awful to watch. I do love watching the Prem show with Rebecca Lowe. They do a great job of making s**t look entertaining.

I actually really enjoy watching pool, Chelsea, and city play this season.
I’ll catch United for the lulz

But the quality of football overall in the EPL is absolutely terrible. I’ve found myself turning off the matches even before half time and just playing fifa cause most of the squads just boot the ball and run

NBC puts out a great product though and England has great atmosphere.

French league plays quality football but for the sake of competition there isn’t any right now.
I think I lost a lot of interest after Monaco won the league then sold mbappe to psg

Outside of La Liga
Lyon interests me more than PSG.
Serie A is absolutely boring at times, some of those stadiums are just lifeless.
Bundesliga I generally have no interest in watching, I'll check the scoreboard on the top teams.
EPL has the best production which helps a lot, imo, it really pops on tv, I'll watch the top 6 sides when they're on.

I forgot about Sarri at Chelsea. The Blues will be a lot better once his philosophy is fully integrated. He was the saving grace for Serie A. He & Allegri.

Serie A is another awful league. Sarri made it interesting to watch for the first time in yeeeeeeeeears. Now that he’s gone, it’s a crap league again. I put the Prem & Serie A on the same level in terms of crap football. It’s not that much better than mls to be honest (for me in that it’s unwatche). I’d actually rate Liga MX over Prem & Serie A bcs the football is so much better/entertaining.

Dont know if anyone was knocking Ligue Un's talent, theyve steadily been one of the best pipelines for Europe's top leagues for over 2 decades now. They've produced as much quality as Spain imo. That's never been in question, its just the new status quo with one oil sugar daddy club running things has stagnated its potential for growth internationally

Spain’s problem is it’s FA & getting the youth players integrated instead of relying on the old stalwarts. There’s youth players there for them to have success in the future.

Having said that France is stacked to the brim right now largely bcs of its immigrant population & the love of street footy. It’s so huge right now. They used to say the Dutch owned the street footy culture but France haas taken the title & there are no signs of giving that up.

The FFF have to be careful though & continue to embrace the immigrant players & continue to provide them opportunities (even more than ever).

I’m afraid the right wing fanaticism/nationalism will creep in & slowly begin to install racist policies & procedures...

Rac1 is reporting that count lookin’ *** m****rf***er is treating Malcom like an outcast bcs he never wanted him in the first place. They’re saying he & his staff including the physios are treating him like an outcast... Get this pointy nose $@%#@&$%#@&$ dude outta the club I love..... get him the eff out...

Please RM win El Clasico later in the month, and if this is true it could be the final straw that destroys Barca for years

FWIW I don’t believe it. But the thought of Mou throwing Messi under the bus while possibly praising CR7 to try getting a severance package is gold
