Colombia got like 6 yellows in 20 minutes. People think the ref were letting the English off easy/paying more attention to Colombia.
I think the issue was really inconsistent reffing. I think it looked like Colombia got shafted because the ref only started to give out calls after it looked like the game was getting too out of control. If the ref was more consistent Colombia still would've got those cards but England would've been right there with them in terms of card count. By the end of the night Colombia had 8 yellows to England's 1. It did look biased but I think he was just inconsistent. The results just went poorly for Colombia because of it.
